If you want your own personal artwork made by me, Commissioning artists not only helps meet my basic human needs, but helps me and other people pursue, promote, and profit off of their own art, without selling out to companies. Support your favorite artist!
READ EVERYTHING THROUGH CAREFULLY!
Describe in the most descriptive detail possible what you want from your artwork.
What is the focus of your art? A man lost in thought? A cat balancing on a tall fence? The view from the top of the mountains? A moth on a tree? A space nebula? What kind of colors do you want? Do you want light pastel colors, dark moody colors, shady greys, Saturated bright colors? What feeling do you want to evoke? Bright joy? Loneliness? Mystery? Enlightenment? Pure anger? The mundane? Psychidelic chaos? What style would you like? Blocky pastel? Fuzzy watercolors?
Sometimes its hard to put into words what you want from your imagination. If possible, send some pictures that you want to inspire your commission! Describe what you like about it, anything works!
Everything not explicitly stated will be up to interpretation. Check out my gallery and portfolio for what you can expect. Trust the process!
Once we agree on what you want, you will pay half ½ of the commissioned price. I will send you a basic idea sketch, which will include the subject, background, chosen colors, mood, perspective, poses, etc. After making major revisions, you pay the other half to finish the piece. This is set up to protect from scammers, and wasted time. NO CHECKS OR E-TRANSFERS! NO CHARGEBACKS!
During the process, its important to send feedback on what you do and don’t like, and what should change for the final piece, and I will revise it to your liking. Revisions and time are limited, so be clear on what you want!
CLEAR, CONSISTENT COMMUNICATION IS VITAL! I will update you weekly progress, or to inform you of any delays or problems. In case of life or emergencies getting in your way, inform me before you cut off communication, and we can discuss a delay. If I don’t hear from you after 3 weeks, your project will be cancelled and non-refundable. Email me at name@example.com for any questions and concerns.
